Interaction is key…
I’ve noticed when you genuinely interact with those who follow you organic results.
Most people that interact with people that reciprocate the efforts.
Once you interact with people that follow you they will in turn interact right back. If you’re interesting enough they will check out more of your work. This will give the algorithm the green light to share you on the home page, in my opinion.
I don’t think I ever been on the home page, yet I am gaining some traction with followers and some interactions. I would like to have more interaction highlights and responses on my old and new stuff. My old stuff is just vintage writings at this point.
I thank all my followers old and new. I am grateful for the interactions that I’m getting.
My formula is this, I get a follow, I check out the last three posts they’ve written, I read them, Highlight what I like. If they are interesting I’ll subscribe, so I can see more of what they post.
