I've written a screenplay about domestic violence and how it can take affect on that woman and the cause of the residual issues thereafter.
It's about a woman name Barbara who is a make up artist in relationship with an abusive police officer. The story dives into the how abusive he is and commits murder, serves time, and out after a short stint in prison. He finds a new calling in life, running a security service, meets a woman, everything is peaches and cream. They get married, blissful time until the old him creeps back and lessons are learned harshly for his past comes back to haunt him.

The script is called Wrong Becomes Me

A suspense thriller, a little dark and to the point and the ending is very controversial. I had to re-write the ending like 4 times already. Sheesh.

I really want to film this one but nobody wants to touch the story because of the subject matter and how abuse can a lead a woman to such lengths. Is it believable I was told. I'm like hmmmm, yes.

My mom was abused before, my auntie was abused before subjects of domestic violence. My sister as well, oh and my daughter.

Oh I've been there before on both sides of the fence. At one point I was a verbal abuser and never knew the toll that took on the lady I was dating. I never was a physical abuser though let my ex wife tell it, I was the worst thing ever because I used to be a boxer and you know what they say about boxers. I had a bad temper back in the days but I would never physically beat a woman. That's silly.

I will write a blog about those experiences soon. As a matter of fact, I'll start writing after I publish this response.
I hate that stigma about boxers for real.

I was abused verbally and mentally by two women from my past and that took a toll on me. Sheesh.
Now I'm 52, I look back at my past and be like wow. That was a roller coaster.

Domestic violence takes a mental toll (for the sake of this blog) on a woman. Yet men too. And how it can affect future relations if it doesn't get fixed.
