Power of Claps
No, I’m not talking about what a man or woman possibly get when engaging in unprotected sex.
I’m talking about your undivided attention to my writing detail and the word play while delivering that message of the title or topic at that moment.
A clap is like a standing ovation in relation to what you’ve read that resonated with you.
Clap if you like depends on how many claps you want to give.
You may give one clap or 50. Clapping I believe help out the article for the medium algorithm to place that article in front of more readers. So clap away!
What moves you to clap on an article? The title may be just enough for someone to just clap and they may not have read the article. The article with an outstanding title may warrant 100’s or thousands of claps. Or the article with substance will attract the claps it need to get on the medium front page.
Along with clapping you must engage with other readers or readers that read your content. After they like, share, and comment on your article or blog, you must return the favor and read one or few of their written content. Then as you keep doing that, the $$$ will come and you can now live comfortably writing.
