Chris Rock and his Selective Outrage show!
After a whole year Chris finally address the situation about him being slapped by Will Smith.
Some say Chris is pussy for waitng so long. He struck at the right time in my opinion, hence Oscars and all.
When the slap happened last year, I thought it was staged but with Will being suspended by the Academy, that gave me think a new outlook on the slap.
Plus was under a lot of pressure and seemingly inner scrutiny.
Now about Chris’s special. I thought it was semi bland but he kept my interest for the most part, truly and undoubtedly waiting for him to deliver his Will & Jada rant. Boy, did he. I’ll say this he didn’t keep his wife’s name out his mouth either.
The last ten minutes was really the best part of the show in my opinion.
People say he’s losing his touch. I don’t agree. He’s a legend and one of the OG’s of his style comedy.
His blunder of his joke shows how he can improv on the fly and correct his mistake and still make it funny.
He let the steam off his chest and he can move on with his career.
