This piece was so powerful I had to read it again. It resonates well. With my life and knowing the truth about no. Reading this made me think about a lot of aspects of life and wow you did touch an emotional string there. Ok, it’s like working as a telemarketer and getting the phone hung up on you all day. Sheesh, that will have someone jaded quick and press to do outside of the box stuff just to get a yes, which ultimately won’t work anyway 97 percent of the time. Having that fear of the “No" compelled people to do anything within the perimeters of sketchy just for that “possible" yes. Yes is a comfort zone when you’re good at getting yes like a top notch salesman then hearing no empowers their effort for the eventual yes. We as humans have to use rejection as a jolt towards a better presentation for the yes. I am accustomed to the NO, embraced the NO, numb to the NO. I heard it all my life and didn’t let it define me as the person I am today. Now in the beginning of my career, I didn’t take no so well and used to crumble into pieces of shattered security, a waste of time. Then during the life of no made me realize that I am the problem. Leave the gimmicks and facades alone and just flat out ask. Thanks for this well written piece. I want to be a great writer, filmmaker, and producer. I have a history of ups and downs in my respective field of profession. I am ultimately rebranding my journey and taking control of my narratives in which of I do get that No, I know how to manuver through and through for that yes, even from the naysayers. Thanks

Oh, lastly. Can you help me get my brand out there?
