I’m going to say this now and I stand on this. Regis will stop Devin Haney in the tenth round by TKO, if not earlier in the 7th.

Why? He has more to prove to the world going into a hostile situation in the adopted home town of San Francisco. He has the boxing fans of the city behind him to believe in his rhetoric.

Regis only loss came by way of Josh Tayor in what I say was a robbery on many levels. Regis last two fights were lack luster at best but I truly believe that his last fight as masterful Regis is he didn’t give his best performance on purpose so that Devin the dream Haney could call him out.

Which he did. Which he will be in a nightmare comes tomorrow night.

Devin looks sharp, ripped, and solid. His IQ is top tier, and his ring generalship is as best as it gets. Yet he has pillow hands and a sus chin which he’s been rocked in his last four fights. Not badly rocked but enough to be like wow.

YouTube analyst BlueBlood Sports TV broke down Haney’s growth stating that he’s grown in his body and could take those shots and bounce back. He was never rattled where he had noodle legs. My objection to his statement is, those guys doesn’t have Regis’s power and can be stand up to that power while fighting at 140?

Speaking of pillow hands, Devin has been talking quite crispy about Regis calling him a bum, and how he will knock him out.

Regis on the other hand states he’ll punish him. Early on during the press tour question A loss allegedly turned to a win back in Mexico early on in his career. As the weeks got close Regis even spoke on Devin’s privileged upbringing as well as being from Henderson, Nevada.

Devin then disrespected one of Regis trainers Evins Tobler calling him a stripper and he wears thongs. Lol.

All in all, the fight will be devastating and the dog in Regis will come out. He’s the champ and he has to be the B-side. Crazy, but hey Regis has a chip on his shoulder and a lot to prove. Not counting out Devin because he has some good punches and combos in his arsenal, it’s just he hasn’t been taken to deep waters before and it’s going to be defining moment when Devin either retire on the stool in the 10th or the ref will see enough and stop the match because Regis will close the distance and annihilate Devin. Sending Devin back to 135 to face Tank and get slept there too.

I said it. Mark my words. He probably won’t fight Tank though. Lol.

Regis in 10, if not 7.
